IN-STORE & ONLINE RETURN POLICY
In-Store Returns
We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days from purchasing your item from our store to be able to return it for store credit or exchange it for an item of equal value.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase via text or email.
If you wish to return an item that was exchanged, the original purchase date will be used to enforce our return policy. For example, if you exchange something within 7 days of purchase, and wish to return that exchanged item after the 7 days have expired, you will receive store credit as your form of refund.
Items on sale, jewelry, custom products, special orders, baby apparel, handbags, hats, and accessories are FINAL SALE and are not eligible for return or exchange.
Online Order Returns
We will happily accept online returns or exchanges on full price, unworn, unwashed, unaltered merchandise with tags postmarked for return within 10 days of delivery. Once the return has been accepted from our team, we kindly ask that you ship it back to our storefront within 24 hours and send your tracking information via email to hello@batikchicago.com. Please note if you choose to return your online order, store credit will be issued.
To be eligible for a return, please email us at hello@batikchicago.com BEFORE sending your order back to us. As a small business this helps us manage our inventory. After reaching out, kindly ship your order back to us at 3746 N Southport Ave, Chicago, IL 60613.
You will receive an email from us once we have received your return in-store and issued the store credit.
Online Order Exchanges
To exchange an item, please return the item to our storefront and then place a new online order. Follow the return process detailed on our website. If you would like assistance with the exchange, please contact hello@batikchicago.com. We're happy to help you find the right fit!
Local Pick-Up
We love that we can offer our Chicago shoppers an in-store pick-up option! Please note that this is only available during store hours Wednesday-Sunday.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / Non-returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as custom products (special orders or monogrammed items), gift cards, items on sale, jewelry, handbags, hats, baby apparel and accessories. These items are considered FINAL SALE and are not eligible for return or exchange. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
